We've been customers at Partou for over three years, both our kids have been going there. Over the three years we have mixed feelings about our time here. The childcare staff has been great. Our kids have had great caring teachers like Fatna, Cindy, Anouk, Michelle, Jihad, Saadia, and various others. They have been very caring and we felt comfortable leaving our kids in their hands. They know how to care for and entertain the kids while passing along good social values to them. This was important for us to see. Also, the location/facilities are great. The building is new and generally clean, and there's a great (secluded / safe) outdoor play area behind the building where the kids play almost daily. Having a lot of outdoor time was also key in our decision for this location. However, the administrative / operational management of this daycare is a total mess. Partou is a private equity owned organisation and Ensemble is a very small location. This location is not a priority for the top management. In the three years we've been here we've had six different location managers. Every time we had a good location manager, she would be promoted away to a bigger location. Ensemble would then be left with either a temporary manager from HQ (who was never fully engaged) or a new manager (who was learning on the job). As a result of this ever-changing operational management, groups sometimes had to close or be changed at short notice. Also the work environment for the staff hasn't been stable, which has left some of the staff disgruntled. We have addressed these issues with the top management (HQ) on various occassions and were always left with reassuring messages, but never with any actual improvements to this situation. Hope this mixed view helps anyone in deciding for the best place for their kids.
